Andrew J. Turk, 32, lost his battle with addiction on January 31, 2018.

He was born May 29, 1985, the son of Gary and Linda (Humphrey) Turk.  Andy graduated from New Hartford High School and worked at C&H Plastics in Waterville.  He was an artist and craftsman at heart, who loved to tinker, build, draw, and create things.  He was a music lover, who collected records and enjoyed listening to many different bands.  He was also an avid wrestling enthusiast since childhood, always thrilled to attend live events.  His favorite times were spent with his family, his friends, and his cat Buddy – all whom he adored.

Andy is survived by his mother, Linda Turk; his sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Alex Barnes; paternal grandparents, Paul and Joanne Turk; Godfathers, Brian and Henry Turk; aunts and uncles, Paul and Kathy Turk and Bill and Becky Humphrey; many cousins, including his cousin and best friend Matthew “Bones” McCurdy; several close friends; and his beloved cat Buddy.  He was predeceased by his father, Gary Turk; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Sally Humphrey; and his Godmother and aunt, Diane Humphrey.

All are invited to call Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton.  A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Tully Hill Foundation, Attn: Cathy Palm, PO Box 1116, Tully, NY 13159 or the Rescue Mission.
