The smile. The laughter and the joy. Everyone who knew, and met her, couldn't help but become ensnared by her sweetness and charm. Charlene G. She met the love of her life, Milton Lee Webster, when they were both at Clinton Central School. The high school sweethearts were married on August 9, 1959. Their love affair spanned sixty-one years. She is survived by her husband, Milton Lee Webster; daughters Margaret (Salvatore) Sparrow, Sharon (Robert) Thrasher; sons, James (Virginia) Webster, Michael (Noreen) Webster, Charles Webster & fiancé Georganne Garnsey, Dennis (Kelly) Webster, Mark Webster & special friend Sue Flint; sister, Barbara VanDusen; brothers Richard (Joan) Evans, Robert Evans, Charles (Marge) Evans; sisters-in-law, Pat Evans, Beryl Evans, Sue Monaghan, Betty Masner; brothers-in-law, Francis Clarke, Alfred Webster. Charlene was a loving mother to her children, and inspired them with her sparkling eyes, her bright smile and her sweet laugh. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews adored her, and lavished her with love and affection. She had a fondness of owls, with her spiritual animal flying her soul to heaven where, once again, she's reunited and laughing with her beloved sisters, Nadine, Gail, and Deanna. Charlene worked, and retired from, the New York State office of Mental Health, and along the way had worked at Marcy "B" building and Pinefield in Utica, where her kindness and love endeared her to co-workers and patients.
