Joanne Kilts Diehl, 53, of Broad Street, passed away at home unexpectedly on June 20, 2016. She was born April 22, 1963 to the late William and Rosemary "Jeanne" (Mackesey) Kilts. Joanne was a CNA at Lutheran Care 16 years and also worked as a home health aide. She was a loving and giving person who always put others first, especially her children and grandchildren. Joanne used her nurturing ways to help care for her grandchildren and her sister-in-law over the years. Every year, Joanne looked forward to the big family gathering she hosted on the 4th of July. She is survived by her children, Nicole, Ryan and Brandon Diehl; three grandchildren, Riley, Taylor and Kaiden; nine brothers and sisters and their spouses, William and Barbara Kilts, James and Sharon Kilts, Kathy and Ron Decker, Rosemary and Jim March, Jack Kilts and Nancy Yates, Bob Kilts, Tom and Kimberley Kilts, Patty Kilts and Jim Davis and David and Bridget Kilts. She was predeceased by her two sons, Joseph and Matthew and her sister Sherry Rice. All are invited to call Today (Wednesday) from 2-4pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Hillside Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. The family is thankful for all the help given to Joanne by Edna, Bridget and our sister Pat. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
