Doris I. Pryce, 94, of Clinton passed away April 12, 2016 at the Presbyterian Home. She was born in Clinton on August 9, 1921 to Elmer and Ruth Alice (Jones) Peck. Doris worked at Breyer's Ice Cream in Framingham, MA for many years. She was a hardworking, independent woman who valued a good work ethic. Doris retired in 2011 at the age of 89. She loved spending time with her family and was always picking out a special gift or sending cards to them during the year. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Paula & Daniel Gray of Marietta, GA; two granddaughters Bobbie Sue and Steve Chilton of Cherrylog, GA and Cheryldean and Dennis Suggs of Apopka, FL; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Laura Peck of Clinton; her sister Marjorie "Midge" Bakos of Clinton; her nieces and nephews including Linda, Lois, Larry and Patty Bakos who always came to her aid; her special friends Linda Bonney of Raymond, NH and Pat Creamer of Whitinsville, MA. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Peck. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, April 18, 2016 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Calling hours will be held Monday from 1-2pm prior to the funeral service. Her burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
