Paul H. Lauri, 84, of Clark Mills, passed away at home on December 7, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born in Rome on December 14, 1930, a son of the late August and Florence Lauri. Paul served as a Staff Sgt in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Berlin Air Lift and Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Betty R. Nelson on August 28, 1954, a blessed union of love and devotion for 61 years. For 15 years, Paul worked at Pettibone as a machinist. He was a member of the Oriskany VFW Post #1448. Paul is survived by his wife Betty; his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Gregory Daniels of Key West, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Rose Lauri of AZ; sister-in-law, Mary Quesnell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Roman and her husband John, his brothers Robert and David Lauri, and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Carleton Nelson and Robert and Barbara Nelson. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. All are invited to call Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family thanks the staff at Lutheran Care for taking care of Paul during his stay and their friends Joanne and Jim Berie and Donna Stirling for their friendship and compassion.
