Obituary of Beverly J. Parry

Beverly J. Parry, 73, of Hunt Valley Road, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Siegenthaler Center with her family by her side. She was born in Oriskany, on August 28, 1935, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Peek Ashley. She grew up in Clark Mills and graduated from Clinton Central School. On October 4, 1963, she was united in marriage to William Parry. They resided in Sherrill for almost 25 years. Mr. Parry died October 21, 2002. Bev was a communicant of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Oneida. She worked at Oneida Silversmiths for 43 years and was a former member of Clark Mills Fire Dept Auxiliary and the Ladies Owls Nest in Oneida. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her loving grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim and James Dwyer of Oneida; her three grandchildren, Bailey, Shannon and Megan; her brother and sister-in-law, William and Sandra Ashley of Sherrill; and her many nieces and nephews. She was blessed with many wonderful friends and neighbors and her childhood friend, Mildred Fredell of Pioche, NV. She was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Flint in 2007. Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday, September 5, 2008 at Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton and 11am at St. Johns Episcopal Church, Main Street, Oneida. Burial will be in Oriskany Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 4-7pm. Bevs family thanks the oncology and radiology depts., Dr. Graziano, Dr. Popuri, Oneida Healthcare and Dr. Chan Whiting.
