Obituary of Doris L Weston

Doris Lorraine (Schram) Weston, 70, of South Street, passed away April 15, 2008 after a brief illness. She was born January 26, 1938, a daughter of Fred and Ruth Kitchen Schram and graduated from Westmoreland Central High School in 1956. On August 16, 1958 she married Edwin Weston. Doris worked at Utica Mutual, Eastern Freight Ways and also at Westmoreland Golf Course. She also had a babysitting service at her home and took care of many children. Doris loved to plant different kinds of flowers and plants and enjoyed passing the time watching the birds feed from her many bird feeders. Doris enjoyed country music, puzzles and reading a wide variety of magazines. She was a friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ed; her children, Todd and Kim Weston and Vicki Weston and her fianc Edward Demenezes II; three grandchildren, Anthony Weston, Edward III and Emma Demenezes; her sisters Shirley Dykstra and Trudy and Ronald Tracy; brothers Robert Schram and his companion Shirlee Thieme and Lyle and Rosa Schram; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Nicolas Weston, her lifetime friend Doris Wolczanski, brother-in-law, Bill Dykstra Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Owens-Pavlot Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barneveld. Friends are invited to call Friday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to C.O.C.V.A.C, Box 399, Clark Mills, NY 13321 or Westmoreland Fire Dept., PO Box 485, Westmoreland, NY 13490.
